Abstract: A faunal survey was conducted from April 1963 to February, 1966 in the Ankang region of the southern part in Shanxi Province. Co9llections were made at the following localities (see map 1): Ningshan, Shiquan, Hanyin, Ankang, Xnuyang, langao,Pingli, Baihe, ziyang, Zhenping.Altogether 2,989 specimens were collected including 96 species and subspecies,belonging to 26 families and 7 orders.
