盐酸对氨基偶氮苯对致死量60钴γ——线照射小鼠的预防作用

The Radioprotective Effect of Aminoazobenzene Hydrochloride on Mice Irradiated With Lethal Doses of γ-Rays

  • 摘要: 盐酸对氨基偶氮苯对用60钴γ——线致死量照射的小鼠具有显著的辐射防护作用。照射前不管供口服或腹腔注射,其有效剂量均为50毫克/公斤体重。此药的优点:口服和腹腔给药都有效,从给药到出现防护效价的间隔时间较短,而有效剂量范围很宽。并且,此药的化学性质在室温中稳定。此药的一个缺点是形成变性血红蛋白,但是在有效剂量范围内,动物对此药有很好的耐受性。根据我们的初步工作,对此药的辐射防护原理进行了讨论。

     

    Abstract: P-aminoazobenzene hydrochloride showed a marked radioprotective effect in mice irradiated with lethal doses of 60Co γ-rays.The effective dose of the drug was 50 mg/kg body weight which was administered either intraperitoneally or per os before irradiation.The advantages of this drug are:Both oral and intraperitoneal routes of administration are effective,the latency of appearance of protective effect is relatively short and the range of effective doses is wide.Furthermore,the chemical properties of this drug is stable under room temperature.On the other hand,the formation of metahemoglobin may be considered as one of the drawbacks of this drug,but within the range of effective doses it is well tolerated by the animals.The mechanism of protection of this drug has been discussed based on our preliminary work elucidating this point.
