大脑内外泌体的生理和病理功能解析

Physiological and pathological insights into exosomes in the brain

  • 摘要: 大脑中的各种细胞均可以分泌产生外泌体,外泌体通过运输其所携带的分子影响大脑内细胞之间的通讯。大脑内的外泌体对神经元的发育,活性以及再生都具有重要的作用。特别值得关注的是,外泌体参与调控神经退行性疾病的病理进程。在本综述文章中,我们着重阐述了大脑内不同类型细胞来源的外泌体,其所携带的调控分子,以及它们在生理和病理条件下的功能。

     

    Abstract: Exosomes are small vesicles secreted by all cell types in the brain and play a role in cell-cell communication through the transfer of cargo or encapsulation. Exosomes in the brain have considerable impact on neuronal development, activation, and regeneration. In addition, exosomes are reported to be involved in the onset and propagation of various neurodegenerative diseases. In this review, we discuss the content of exosomes derived from major cell types in the brain, and their function under physiological and pathological conditions.
