Comparative studies on the electrophoregran of esterase isozyme and lactate dehydrogenase of Carassius aukatus gibelio bloch and Carassius sp.

  • The isozyme patterns and relative mobile characteristic of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and esterase from various organs and tissues of Carassius auratus gibelio Bloch, Carassius auratus, Carassius sp., have been comparatively studied by vertical polyacrylamide electrophoresis method.Specific isozyme patterns were observed in the serum, lence , brain, heart, kidney, spleen, liver, muscle, ovary of Carassius sp. The results showed significant tissue-specific difference in esterase zymograms. There are 3 types of phenotypes. Our results indicated that zymogram for LDH isozyme activity in the some organs of carassius auratus gibelio Bloch and Carassius sp. showed significant differences in hand numbers and their strngth and relative mobilities. The results of disc polyacrylamide gel isoelectric focusing(T7.5%, C 5%) showed that zymogrm and electrophoresis densitometric scans for Est. isozyme in the same organs between the two kinds of fishes displayed clear differences (liver, ovary, brain). These results showed some differentiation already at biological level in Carassius auratus gibelio Bloch and Carassius sp. They possibly originated from different regions and developed independently form different ancestors. LDH zymogram of Carassius sp. and Carassius auratus were similar. It seems that Carassius sp. originated possibly from native Carassius auratus of Yunnan Province.
