Blood Picture of the Tree Shrew (Tupaia Belanger)

  • The blood picture of 38 normal tree shrews (Tupaia belangeri) was reported.The results were as follows,the total erythrocyte count was 8.09±1.8 million/cu mm.,leukocyte count-2.93±1.12 thousand/cu mm.,thrombocyte count-164.4±98.2 thousand/cu mm.,hemoglobin value-15.63±2.30 g/dl.The results are discussed in detail and compared with relevant papers.
